2) Wodajo’s debut book The Secret to Finishing Well: Quest for Authentic Leadership explores different forms and effects of government leadership, ranging from God’s original system of government, to the government leadership styles of Ethiopia, to how the Constitution of the United States of America relates to God’s system of government in our quest for authentic leadership. The book defines leadership in terms of religion, culture, and history, based on the autor’s extensive experience studying, working, and living in Ethiopia and the United States, evidences from the Bible, and reading of literature and resources related to the topics addressed in this book, as well as travelling to many countries in the world for study tours, trainings, international conferences, and workshops.

The Secret to Finishing Well, uses Ethiopia, a country that exercised a variety of leadership styles, as a case study to better understand leadership styles, and explores the differences in leadership of Ethiopia’s three regimes—aristocratic reign of the monarchy, the Communist rule of the People’s Democratic Republic of Ethiopia, and the present Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia—as well as these three regimes’ leadership difference from that of the United States. By presenting Ethiopia’s governance history beginning from the reign of emperor Amde-Tsion (1314–1344), The Secret to Finishing Well takes readers right to the root cause of Ethiopia’s chronic problems that are now at the worst stage, and forwards recommendations to end them.
